Lousia Peck had her near-death experience in November of 1982. Once a self-proclaimed “angry atheist,” Louisa never imagined she’d encounter the divine after her heart stopped. She was on a path of self-destruction that traced back to her alcoholic family. Drinking and infatuation were the two “twin highs” that dominated her broken life — until a near-death experience, and Alcoholics Anonymous, helped turn everything around.
Louisa shares her astonishing near-death experience (NDE) that began with a fatal overdose of lidocaine, mistaken for cocaine, in a New York nightclub. What followed was a powerful journey of ego dissolution, flying over the ocean, a mystical reunion with her ancestors, and finally entering a brilliant light of unconditional love.
In this heartfelt and emotionally moving account, Louisa describes the feeling of being cradled like a child in the light, her reluctant return to life, and the transformative impact the experience had on her soul. She recounts her spiritual awakening, a shift from disbelief to truth, and how this NDE revealed the eternal nature of love, consciousness, and purpose.
This video explores addiction, spiritual awakening, atheist-to-believer transformation, and the healing power of near-death experiences.

What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

B.S. she was alcoholic and a coke head. Her story is told as if these are traits of an atheist. Nope. I am an atheist. I don’t drink, smoke nor do drugs. I am not stupid like this woman. Every Christian I know thinks they’re better than everyone else, but they all have personal issues & their lives are a mess. Why would I want that? Also, they really don’t know what they believe. This woman had a drug induced vision.
Enjoyed listening to Lousia and her NDE. Best wishes. 🙏
My wife went to heaven today I miss her so much I an at complete peice I know she is with the god that created her and I'll see her again soon as I pass from this life
Thanks Louisa for your testimony and the channel too
“Every soul is bound to have a taste of death. We are putting all of you to a test by passing you through good and bad conditions and finally you shall return to Us.” – Quran 21:35
Wow! An addiction success story. LOVE it.
Happy Sailing matey! Captain "Long John" Sinclair.
Even nde videos of all places, have equally… Shockingly toxic comments down below. It's almost as if simply having a comment box at all is an invitation for like minded people who otherwise would and should enjoy similar things and (God forbid) each other's presence and social interactions over other online groups, unfortunately y'all just can't seem to refuse the chance to rip each other to pieces for no reason at all. Y u do dis¿
The part where she speaks about the stupid primitive burping of codes back and forth that we call communication was amazing
I admit that I feel far more comforted by NDEs of atheists. The more cynical and fanatical, the better. What'd be perfect is if a Suzan Blackmore or James Randi type figure had one and was like "Yes, this was real".
What a beautiful testimony. I wish we could've seen how she turned her life around after coming back.
So you had a lidocaine trip. You didn't die though.
I too had an angry, flaming atheist phase. I have had my share of openings from meditation practice, but nothing to the level of a confirmed kensho or NDE. Over time, I developed a lot of patience and tolerance for those who use god-metaphor. After all, this is territory of "Beyond all words, all thought, and can't be described." Love your reflections on the ancestors. Author Linda Hogan in the final pages of her book Dwellings used the expression: "Our lives are the result of the love of thousands."
Thank you for sharing your story.
Never heard of a foaming at the mouth atheist. Makes the whole video sound fake. This is what she thinks an atheist is.
So God is the sun? But there are billions and trillions of stars in the universe. Does that mean that this whole spiritual thing is tied to our solar system? These NDEs are so weird to think about.
Wow the bit about the “garage” makes me think about the non-speakers with apraxia on Telepathy Tapes ❤
Always call upon Jesus ❤
Beautiful testimony ❤🫂🫶🏼🙏🏼
What a silly one
15:38 I think is when she re entered her brain and the DMT was working on her. Before that I think was a true genuine encounter with god
I'm confused why she called it the parent. I guess an atheist can never admit that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.
God bless you sweetheart for sharing your testimony 🙏 ❤️ I hope I'll get to see my beautiful Mum ❤
She was on E tablet when this happened
You were seeking a bigger ego, when we seek to become one with God.

If whole world accept that there's something I will like stay alone.
🤔🤨
Why do so many NDEs happen after overdosing ? Could this NDE be drug induced hallucination ?
I am done with ndes now. Will no longer listen or consider their validity any longer. There is a very disturbing trend in a lot of these testimonies and that is the absence of Jesus. I'm absolutely positive this is an orchestration of Satan. I suggest nobody listened to these or take them serious. If the focus isn't about Jesus Christ, it's a lie.
She didn't realize that she was heading for hell and still is. she was fortunate to have lived but sadly she has been deceived.
Near death isn't being dead, it's only close to death. You can't come to conclusions concerning what it is like to be truly dead because you are still here talking about it.
If you were truly dead, that is, dead as dead can be, your body cells would be breaking down, dissolving, your brain functions would cease, leaving you with no memory of ever being alive.
What is it like to be truly dead as dead can be? Short answer, nobody knows, because they can never be brought back to life to talk about it.
Examples of the dead as dead can be are those that were chemically prepared for burial, cremated, accident victims whose bodies were torn apart in car or aircraft crashes, or falls from very high places, and finally, people who die from the vagaries of old age. Their bodies were just worn out by time and no longer able to sustain life and consciousness.
What a ugly horrible story. I had no idea so many people lived like this in new York. Frightening.
Well, I'm not kissing up to Louisa for her brutal bravado.
NDE nowadays has become a trend!!..
An atheist can be a kind and compassionate person. In fact, religious zealotry will make a person cruel
Oh she had a dominic experience
You took DMT😂
What's a "Hardcore Atheist" exactly? That sound like a statement coming from complete ignorance.
