  1. American Cardiologist Maurice Rawlings has documented the NDE of a 48-year-old man who undwerent cardiac arrest. During his NDE, the man perceived a gorge full of beautiful colors, lush vegetation, and light, where he met both his stepmother and his biological mother, who had died when he was only 15 months old. His father had remarried shortly after his biological mother’s death, and the experiencer had never even seen a photo of her. A few weeks after this episode, his aunt, having heard about his vision, visited and brought a picture of his mother posing with a number of other people. The man had no difficulty picking his mother out of the group, much to the astonishment of his father.

  2. 1) for most my life, I have been a slave: to guilt and rage.

    2) I find it impossible to forgive.

    9) I have a really complicated/unhealthy/painful/uneasy relationship with my middle sister.

And I blame myself for the state of our relationship.

    10) Most often, more than anything, the dominating theme in my life has been:

a relentless overwhelming insatiable urgent desire to escape reality.

    11) I love writing, and it's my dream and my intention to get paid to do it.

  3. NDE stories don't "prove" anything. All we have are their word, their testimony, which may or may not be reliable and accurate. The truth is that we simply have no idea, at this point in time, what (if anything) these experiences mean. Maybe they don't mean anything at all. Maybe what these people experience is simply the result of the brain experiencing a cascade of chemicals and electrical activity just prior to it shutting down for good.
    A few questions:
    1. Why do only approximately 18% of people who die, or come close to death, experience anything at all?
    2. Why does it seem as though these people are being presented with an image of the afterlife that seems to have been designed to put their critical-thinking abilities on hold?
    3. Why do these "returnees" consistently fail to question whether or not what they had experienced really was the "afterlife"? What if it was something else entirely?
    4. If the place they visit truly is "home", then why are we here, on this Earth? Sure, they'll often say "to learn" or "to grow", but what for? What is the point of that?

  4. My most pressing question regarding passing over is this.

Is there the tunnel and slow burn emerging into the spiritual plane if your brain is blown to bits or crushed?

I'm not sure what would be more scary.. moments or days of painful dying and then a blissful release into the tunnel, the floating the NDE style transition

Or a shotgun blast to the face and boom. Just there with no time to realize whats happening

  5. Thank for sharing your experience. I’m glad to hear that you felt safe, it’s not always mentioned, because I felt an overwhelming love, compassion and so so safe and protected. Much love 💞💜
