What does dying feel like? What is it like to stand on the threshold of death — and turn back? Three young women talk about their near-death experiences and how these moments changed their lives.

“I used to be extremely afraid of death. But ever since my near-death experience, that’s no longer the case,” says model Chanel Silberberg, who became famous through the German reality TV show “Germany’s Next Topmodel.” She nearly died at the age of 11 from complications related to a chronic illness. The experience fundamentally shaped her.

Why do near-death experiences have such a lasting impact? This documentary shares the dramatic and inspiring stories of three young women who stood on the brink between life and death and returned with a completely new life perspective. Their background stories are vastly different: Laethisia Schimek is a competitive athlete; Léa Winzenried is a dance therapist; and Chanel Silberberg is a model and influencer. What all three have in common is an awareness of the finiteness of life, and a drive to experience it to the fullest.

  1. One thing: they lived. What do the dead have to say about this claim?

Seeing as how they all turned out so well, it might be good if all 8 billion of us had an NDE.

  2. People fear death, because they don't know what is on othe side of live ,but if people knew what side b of live what it got for them everyone would like to die ,you could see all people wanting to die, life after death is more comfortable and sweeter than this life we live here .

  3. Hard to follow this documentary. Their stories are intertwined and discombobulated. Also, the first story was NOT a near death experience, it was an out of body experience induced by drugs.

  4. I was assaulted. Badly. I lay on the ground on my back, looking up. No pain. Just peace. No bad spirits, no fear. Just peace. I woke up in the ER. My first thought was a prayer. Thank you Abba, Im alive!! Dealing with people afterwards, was a lot of bad, but enough good. I felt empowered. Because the bad tried to take me, and could not.

  5. 2. Surah Al-Zumar (39:42)

"Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and of those that do not die during their sleep. He keeps those for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Indeed in this are signs for a people who reflect."

  6. The most powerful part of this documentary is seeing how these women stopped 'earning' their happiness and started simply living it. It’s a wake-up call for all of us chasing medals or titles while forgetting that being here, right now, is the greatest gift. Sending love to anyone fighting a silent battle today. ❤️

  7. Motorbike crash. My brother did CPR on me on the side of the road. I remember that one. My surgeon told me, "I lost you twice on the table." I remember one of those 2. Dieing feels like living, but you know it's ending. I wasn't scared, and it doesn't hurt. My body was totally fked up, and I knew it. But there is absolutely zero pain, none. To me it felt just like living but knowing things are about to change.

  8. I counted 2 NDEs and 1 drug induced psychosis/OBE. One of these things just doesn't belong here. What could've been an awesome documentary was tainted with the inclusion of a narcissist's story of being unable to handle drugs she chose to consume. The other two women had experiences entirely out of their control.

  9. for me, a 50 year male, had major heart attack, & the "paddles" "zapped" me 4 times to bring back BUT all i experience was very dark, very quiet & feeling of peace THEN i felt a thousand needles hit may side not once but twice & my mind snapped & i said to myself what is that & why is someone doing this to me, the doctors told him that i "zapppd" 4 times !

    that`s my experienced in dec 2004 !!!

  10. If that dog dies means, Dog take your death and sacrifice it, That's why you are reborn, Most of this experience is not death experience only illusion of soul Whenever we are in tired condition, God bless all ❤

  11. I had cardiac arrest and my heart stopped for 20 minutes. It was restarted by paramedics and I was in a coma for four days afterwards.

I'm not particularly religious, there was no tunnel, blinding light or supernatural beings but I experienced the most profound feeling of love and caring at a time when I should have been completely oblivious to everything. It was as if every molecule in the Universe was aware of my situation and cared for my plight. I have never felt loved like this before, it completely changed my outlook on death.

  12. Near death experience from cannabis? 😂😂😂 Come on bro, not even from heroin,I guarantee that by own experience. She just was high as F

  13. I had an experience and I’m sure I’m not the only one but it’s not covered because it’s not what people WANT or NEED to hear about theses types of experiences. My experience lasted about 45 minutes. Beautiful rolling hills with beautiful fruit trees. Groups of two or more people talking to each other spread all over. Then I saw and talked to my dead grandparents…after a while my parents showed up….my very alive parents…so that’s when I knew I couldn’t be dead. I then came to, turns out I had fainted giving blood. The nurse told me I was out for just a second or two. I don’t believe in any death stories anymore.

  14. Why for God's sake drown every statement in cheap sound effects ??? And why start the topic with a gloom and doom atmosphere? the German state media have lost it, really. Better watch thanatos TV, or other serious private channels on that topic.
