  1. During a deep hypnosis I saw my Grandmother and Grandfather…it wasn't the ones I knew. 3 yrs later I had my DNA done, I learned my Dad was not my biological Dad. When I met my family, I was shown pics of everyone including the Grandparents I saw! Like you I started asking questions at 10 yrs old. It was such a relief to find my truth. I now understand why my Dad didn't show proper love for his daughter. Questions all answered!

  2. Thank you LGL and Lynn for this conversation. I have not had a NDE but on my own journey to understand my purpose, seeking peace and spiritual connection and these conversations are really helpful. 🙏🏻❤️✌🏻

  3. Before the age of 5 years old and I started school I told my mom that this was not real none of it was real it looks good they did a good job but this isn't real. It scared her so I stopped talking about it. I knew all along.

  4. Lynn had an NDE to discover her NPE (Non-Parental Event)! In 2022 (at the age of 60), I found out, through a DNA test, that the man I believed was my father is not my father. In an instant, half my family and ethnicity were wiped out and replaced with the unfamiliar. My identity was shattered. You all talked about forgiveness. For someone who has experienced this, there is a lot to work through before one can get to that place. Many times people are scapegoated and rejected by their family of origin, as well as rejected by their newly discovered family. With the popularity of DNA tests, at the low end, it is estimated to date that over 1.3 million people in the US alone (who have taken home DNA tests) have experienced this.
For me, after a couple of years of working through it, it became a spiritually-transforming experience. Like Lynn, I could see how I always knew on some level that there was a secret. I desperately wanted to fit in and belong to my family of origin, yet I was different in many ways. As a small child, I internalized all the shame and guilt that was swirling around me. I grew up believing there was something wrong with me because I never could get the acceptance that I craved from my family of origin. Now I can see how many of the stories about who I am, who I am not, and where I cam from were never true to begin with. It was extremely freeing. I have been able to consciously build back my identity.
It was so interesting and validating to hear Lynn echo her similar experience through having the NDE.
My NPE experience is what brought me back to spirituality. A life-long self-help junkie, I stopped doing self-help from a place of thinking there was something wrong with me that I needed to fix. I replaced all the self-help podcasts I used to listen to with podcasts featuring people who have had NDEs, simply because I thought that was interesting. That's how I found Vinny.

  5. 🔥 Titration

    Experiencing a small, manageable amount

of a difficult emotion, sensation, or memory

so the nervous system can process it

    without becoming overwhelmed

    or shutting down.

    🔥 Pendulation

Gently moving attention back and forth

    between discomfort and safety,

    activation and calm,

allowing the nervous system to release stress gradually

    and restore regulation.
