I'm learning how and working on when to stfu. Ironically, ppl in the comments are making it harder to do that than the actual story that I may or may not understand. So clearly I have not mastered it. However since I'm only a work in progress I'll just say that it's the blowing of smoke that also doesn't make sense. This person has said herself that the story seems scattered yet in an attempt to support her (which human to human is a great thing to do btw) ..in the comments ppl are themselves not being authentic. There's got to be a way to support and show gratitude without the counterfeit praise, pomp, and circumstance. Authenticity within self is just as important in our spiritual journey as being kind to others is. There has to be a healthy medium between the two.

I remember reading a Hindu platitude years ago that I haven’t been able to shake off. It says, “There is nothing that is not God.” I’m thinking in the “beginning”, if there is such a thing, and God is alone, he/she must create all that exists from within, like a woman giving birth, but maybe from his/her consciousness. Does that mean we and all that exists are simply in God’s mind…and what a mind it is. What blows my mind is that God the original source can split its consciousness into seemingly trillions of subordinate consciousnesses which appear separate & yet are still part of the source. Then I make a cup of tea & discard the whole idea because my little mind is totally overwhelmed with confusion.
She seems pretty forthright & believable. You don’t know something until you experience it. All else is simply speculation.
This account is one of my favorites. It’s so authentic and I sobbed when she talked about her Nanny comforting her. What a beautiful account and this woman is such a sweet soul.

Very complicated story , got confused
Normally, I don’t like the backstory. I prefer it when people just start right at the NDE. But I’m very confused here. You’re in a house with a stranger and he just starts beating you up and keeps you captive for four years? You get set free and the family of this guy has a hit on you and they want you to meet with them and knowing that you go and meet them. I’m confused as to why you would do that. A voice tells you you can make it to the front door and you tell the guy watching you that you are going to go to the front door. Why would you tell the guy trying to kill you that you were going to go ahead and leave and escape? None of this makes any sense.
