8-Year-Old Boy Dies & Finds His Dad in Heaven Waiting for

A powerful Near Death Experience (NDE) testimony unlike anything you’ve heard: eight-year-old Landon Whitley died three times after a tragic car accident that killed his father instantly. While doctors fought to keep him alive, Landon says he was taken into Heaven, saw loved ones who had passed on, encountered siblings he never knew existed, and met Jesus—who sent him back with a message for this life. If you’ve ever searched “what happens when you die?” or “are Heaven and earth connected?” this story will shake you and comfort you at the same time.

FULL DESCRIPTION
In this emotional interview, Julie Kemp and her son, Landon, revisit the day that changed everything: a quiet Sunday drive home from church turned into a fatal collision. Julie survived the crash, but her husband died at the scene and their eight-year-old son coded multiple times on the way to the hospital and in the trauma unit. Doctors warned that even if Landon lived, he might never speak, walk, or function normally again.

For 19 days, Landon lay in a coma while Julie struggled through surgeries, grief, and the unbearable tension of not knowing if her son would survive. Medical teams watched his monitors, prepared for the worst, and gave Julie no guarantees. But when Landon began to wake up, it quickly became clear that something far beyond medicine had taken place.

In simple, matter-of-fact comments, he started sharing things no child should know—about family, about eternity, and about what he experienced when his heart stopped. His memories of Heaven didn’t pour out all at once; they surfaced in small moments, quiet statements, and details that caught Julie completely off guard. Bit by bit, she realized God had been doing something supernatural in the middle of her worst nightmare.

This NDE story is not just about what Landon saw—it’s about how God met a broken family in grief, how Heaven felt closer than Julie ever imagined, and how Jesus still brings hope to people walking through loss, trauma, and unanswered questions. If you’re wrestling with the reality of eternity, wondering where your loved ones are, or needing fresh faith that Jesus is real, this testimony is for you.

  1. Thanks. Heaven is certainly not far way.

Jeremiah 23:24 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? 24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD

  2. I too had the pleasure to see Jesus in 1975. During that time I was an domestically abused new mother. I guess I was at my last rope to want to go on living, so I asked Jesus to let me die. I had 2 children I was 25 yrs old my son was 4, my daughter newly born. I gave up on life and asked Jesus to please take me home. Well he didn't let me, but instead appeared by me and was kneeling next to my bed as tho in prayer..that beautiful morning. He looked beautiful, and for the first time, this young man described him to the T"..yes! That's how he appeared to me. He had a smile on his face a bright white robe, brown hair, mustache and full beard. I'm here because my life was spared, and Im also here to tell the truth to whomever wants to listen. Please please change your lives because he's REAL! no matter if you're a sinner, repent ask forgiveness Jesus will forgive you, but don't wait til the end of your life, don't wait til the last minute..our lives are not promised to you. God bless.

  3. I appreciate this so much. God bless you and your family. Always a blessing to be reminded our family that had passed is right here w us. And also will be there when we pass. Thank you so much for your message and prayer❤

  4. I totally believe this. I had a few dreams after our son died. The most incredible one was when I was in my worst state and I spent time with the Father Jesus and Holy Spirit in Heaven. But Jesus gives us exactly what we need in our individual situation. It may be through a dream or through another person.

  5. Thank you for sharing this. At this very moment I just received my husband of 50 years ashes in the mail. Watching this video at the same time. Help me to understand that he's not in that box, he's with Jesus. At the same time that I was on my way to the hospital I stopped wash my hands at a gas station. As I was washing them. I kept saying to my husband, baby I'm coming. I'm coming. Please hold on. And I heard him say, it's okay babe. Young and healthy. As I open the door to leave my daughter called and said Mom. He's passing right now.. God allowed my husband and I that precious moment. One day there will be a reunion and we never have to look back!

  6. What a beautiful story this is. I’m crying here listening to this story. God bless you and your son, sorry that your husband past. He’s always with you and watching you.

  7. Revelation 22
    King James Version

22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

  8. Revelation 21
    King James Version

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

    11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

    19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

  9. What a touching story. The part that got me the most was when they visited the ambulance driver in granted him forgiveness. What that poor man went through. I think sometimes we don't think about the person in his shoes. I'm so glad he has a different face in his memory now.

  10. When we are walking in the spirit, we are literally walking in a whole other realm. When my husband passed from ALS to me, he’s more alive than he ever was while he was on the Earth, and since I walked by faith since my whole life is based on the truth that my citizenship is already in heaven and I’m already seated with Christ in heavenly places, then heaven and the spirit realm is more real to me than this earthly realm. So I’m not saying that I’ve ever heard my husband or seen my husband, but just like I’ve heard Jesus and I’ve seen Jesus but not physically but spiritually that’s how I am still in communion with my husband. He doesn’t feel distant. Jesus doesn’t feel distant. He is alive. He’s resurrected. He’s an ever present help in time of need. And in the same way, my husband and I are still in unity because I know he knows that the heavenly realm is the “real” one but by faith I know that also And so to me when people say that they “lost and “a loved one I can’t get those words out of my mouth because I didn’t lose anyone. My husband went home to heaven. Anyone who is a true believer in Jesus Christ born again love child of God that’s where we’re heading. This earth is not our home. And I don’t want my husband here. God called him home and that’s where I want him and that’s where he wanted to be was home sweet home with Jesus. I’m holding down the fort here by faith and he’s preparing with Jesus a place for me and for our children.

I’m remembering now that I did get to “touch” my husband at the celebration of life for him. God told me walk over to the casket and when I heard him say that I didn’t obey him. But thankfully, he’s very patient and kind and he told me again, and so I did walk over there, and when I put my hands on that coffin truly, it was like me being able to touch his physical and spiritual body. It wasn’t like I was touching the coffin. God truly did give me a moment with my husband spirit to spirit.

And just like this precious young man, got to hear his dad and see his dad in the hospital room God may allow me to see or hear my husband, but it will be spiritually and it definitely won’t be in some awful demonic medium way.

But I don’t need to see or hear my husband, not even in the spirit because Jesus Christ is enough for me and he was enough for my husband

    But God’s will be done

  11. I can remember the day that my husband had passed away I could remember a year later something was telling me to go out the door and I went out I started to walk towards a church and I don't know what made me go to church I don't know what made me get out of bed that morning and made me go and it was on a Sunday morning
