John J Davis died during surgery. He was instantly taken to the other side where he had one of the most detailed experiences recorded. During his NDE, he met his guide, Alan, who toured him around the afterlife. John and Alan visited a series of buildings, each with their own purposes: an orientation center, a life review building, a library to rewatch history, a library of soulmates, an observatory, and more. Finally, John met Jesus and experienced a euphoria of love and nonjudgement.
John discovered that the true purpose of life here on Earth is for our souls to learn. Our souls choose to come here and it is a very difficult challenge. We can have multiple lifetimes if the soul chooses.

I absolutely believe in all of this, the only thing I don't get is why I would have chosen a life where I'm always struggling with money like I am
My husband had an NDE when he went through heart surgery he was in a tunnel with his father. He said his father was around the age that you were talking about in his 30s. He said his father looked absolutely beautiful and that his voice was so loving and kind not the voice of his father when he was growing up my husband said he was scared and didn’t want to be there in that tunnel. He didn’t not have a feeling he wanted to stay so his father said to him I will help you get back don’t worry and then he woke up from the anesthesia. My husband really never believed in this kind of stuff, of course, until it happens to him, and he shared it with me because he knew I would not mock him because I 100% believe that there is a God that there is Jesus that there is a heaven. The only thing I’m confused about or I should say one of the things I’m confused about is evil you said no there is no hell and I too, am Catholic and thrown up with the idea of how and I always wonder when someone like you who has had an NDE experience say that we chose our life here on earth that part always confuses me because I wondered why I would choose someplace in a family that I didn’t feel loved and I didn’t give out love either because of that and what about people like Hitler? He decides to come down and kill 6 million Jews.? so these kind of examples are hard for me to understand. I have also heard from others that we do have to come back if we didn’t learn what we were supposed to while we were here. We don’t have a choice we come back because we still have to learn and we don’t go to have it until we’ve learned everything is that true ? I try not to be, but I am still afraid of death, although I believe every word you said I will at some point get in touch with you through email cause I would love to see what you have to say in case you do not read this comment. When I dream, I’m always inside going from room to room, hallways for days and days. I always wonder why. This NDE makes me wonder if maybe I’m seeing what the other side is like in my dreams 🤷🏻♀️ My great grandma had the gift of a third eye. She could intuit things or see future events, could read cards but we are good Polish Catholics so not tarot cards, she read playing cards! 😅 Anyway, the gift runs in the family so I understand but I get so frustrated that I don’t know how to tap into it! But again, my dreams are always inside, room after room, hallways after hallway… maybe I’m accessing something and I’m just not getting it! So frustrating but this was very interesting and insightful!

NDE's are not credible evidence for anything supernatural. They do prove that people suffer hallucinations when deprived of oxygen.
I'm not getting Jesus as an entity…scripture says he became man and dwelt among us. And as no hell I have a problem with that too. The 80s did have nde, and past life, spirit guides etc, maybe not in his existence, but well known and 190s of years of this knowledge, via edgar cayce, numerous books since the early 1200s, french book called the spirit, bruce goldberg's books 1970 to 1990, swedenborg 1600s, and so many more.
A lot of what you’re saying isn’t biblical. You mentioned there is no hell but according to the Bible Jesus mentions hell many more times than heaven as a warning. You also mentioned living more than one life… but the Bible says man is appointed once to die and then the judgment. I do think there’s some sprinkling of things that are truths in there too but those things stood out to me and those are major things.
It seems so many have varying experiences. For instance, I hear when some are on the other side they don’t see faces but light or energy and they can tell who their family members, and people they’ve met in their lifetime are. Then some will say they had the choice whether to come back or not, and this man didn’t. So interesting…
Good story but im not sure about all of it. The enemy can also create false NDEs where he can push his agenda on people. The fact that he only.met Jesus for a brief moment and he didnt immediately recall on the strong sense of love like other people do. This by far would've impacted him more than anything
