DEAD Talks with David Ferrugio engages death a little bit differently. Each new guest shares their experience with grieving or perspective on death in a way that shatters the “don’t talk about death” taboo. Grief doesn’t end; it evolves. Having lost his father on September 11th when he was 12, he learned the importance of discussion and sharing other people’s stories. DEAD Talks Podcast hopes to make it a little easier to talk about grief, loss, death, mourning, trauma, or whatever it may be. You may cry, but you also may laugh.

  1. When my Grandpa was dying from cancer, he was at home, he lived with my Mom. Three times he raised his arm and murmered something, ( he was in a hospital bed in their living room). I couldn't understand what he was trying to say until the third time. He was calling Nonie, Nonie, my Grandma, who had passed several years prior. She had come to guide him home, which happened a couple of days later. He missed his 93rd birthday by 5 days. He and I were exceptionally close and I still miss him dearly.

  2. I am here to give you a friendly warning. As you found out the experiences are real, Mom's experience is real, God is real and the afterlife is real. If you believe in God, please, you must stay away from mediums and psychics. These things are against God. For real. God bless you and your future.

  3. I’m convinced the place she went was home. I always crave home and struggle deeply to connect to my body or even care about it. It feels like nothing but an obstacle. I’ve thought so long about where is home (physically), it’s not CO where I am and it’s not NC where I came from. It’s never been here, ever. At this point for numerous reasons, I think that’s our home and I suspect many people struggle to connect with our outer shells or feelings of peace, self love feels like such a foreign concept. I truly hope that’s not what I’m meant to do. It confuses me. Maybe your Mom will get there though!

    Fascinating story.

  4. That is wild. I'm so happy she is here and well first off. Second, she had a experience for sure. An NDE. Look them up. A lot of people who do have nde can't wear wrist watches anymore. The battery dies right away from the energy or something. She definitely crossed over. However because we don't feel sorrow or pain on the other side that aloud your dad to let her go and come back into her body. I love hearing stuff like this. Your father gave you the best gift ever by having it not be your mom's time. Question… has she learned to love herself more? You should have her tell thr story if she is willing. Look into the wrist watch thing. I'm curious. ❤

  5. I had a 3wk coma 5 yrs ago.. felt like Years!! I was on machine for a week, I think. I saw ALLOT❤🙏🕊 My sister, who is Christian like myself, does not believe me!? I warn the rest but think mostly people don't believe.. IDC!! I know what I experienced it was more Real then life here!!! My husband believes me❤🥰 I was awake some times and told him what I saw and heard.. then I went to places then I had vivid dreams. Told my husband I Know difference between Here There and Dreams now.

  6. Whwn I had urachal cancer I didn't know it I started " seeing ppl" and no one else would see I thought I was losing my mind..bc I was the only 1 seeing them( seen my dead grandmothers and grand pa a uncle i never met..I got sick 1 month and they found out that I had cancer ..it made sense ahhhh my body is dying..I have gotten several pics of " ppl" I took bc I couldn't believe if I was seeing it my thumb nail is 1 plus a ball of light that move at sonic speed went through me twice bf surgery and 1 time after..I by mistaken caught it on camera and its a blip on the videoand in 1 frame it would blind u with the whitest of white lights…I got so much..bc I had to convince myself and husband I was seeing what I was seeing..there is so much more to this world

  7. When my grandma was in the last couple of weeks of hospice. She kept talking about seeing my grandpa. As well as saying tell that man to leave I’m not going with him.

During a 16 hour surgery to remove part of a skull base tumor when I came too with a very fuzzy memory. I told my husband my grandma kept yelling at me “not yet” the tumor I have secrets dopamine and norepinephrine, which doesn’t like anesthesia spikes and drops blood pressure. There was times I wasn’t doing the best throughout the surgery.

  8. Tell your mother to read Proof of Heaven by Dr. Eben Alexander, M.D. He was a neurosurgeon and a scientist who only believed in the material world and that the brain causes consciousness. Then, he mysteriously contracted E. Coli and was in a coma for 7 days – beating the projected life expectancy. While in coma, with his neocortex, the part of the brain allegedly responsible for consciousness then non-functioning from the bacteria, he had an NDE. When he awoke (in itself a complete miracle) he regained all of his previous physical and mental functions (a medical anomaly) and wrote the book to tell the tale.

  9. you are 100% correct. she saw what she saw and we are all happier to know that loved ones are on the other side – which is apparently not so far from here. 😊thanks so much for sharing!

  10. I had a near death experience, and several out of body. I was talking to my grandma, and I asked if Grandpa was going to come over and talk to me but he was like "I'll see you in a little bit." . People ask if I saw G-d or angels, and I didn't, but I could hear them. And when I was going and coming back there were other people in the tunnel. So I saw part of heaven and I was told things even about people I didn't know yet. I was also shown what changes would happen if I was missing. Sometimes I don't understand what I was shown until it happens. I had a client, a little boy who also has severe allergies, that told me things and a lot of events overlap. I also wonder if a brief time and place was purgatory? It wasn't heaven or hell, and I was there before I was in the three places I believe were heaven. And I never saw part that I could hear.

  11. I've always believed in God and heaven but it wasn't until after my dad and my favorite cousin died that I got confirmation.
My dad showed me him in heaven in a "dream" , it most definitely was not a dream but to put it in layman's terms, I use the word dream.
I saw him, happy, huge smile on his face, his bright white teeth. He was walking down the street on a sidewalk with someone. It was bright, sunny, beautiful day. I was across the street. He looked at me, smiled a huge happy smile.
That was it. That's all I needed.
A year later my favorite and closest cousin died unexpectedly.
Our whole family was DEVASTATED. I couldn't handle it. It hurt more than losing my dad.
A few months later he came to me.
I asked him if he was in heaven, he said yes. I ask him how is it? And he was so excited to tell me about it!
He told me we are all on different frequencies. Everyone and everything is a frequency.
This was in 2019, before I ever heard of something like this before.
Nowadays people talk about this, about our frequencies but back then it wasn't a known thing.
If this wasn't true, if my cousin didn't come to me, say it was all a dream, how would I have known that?! How would my mind make that up? Like I said, I've never heard of that at that time in my life. There's no way I would have thought about that subconsciously in a dream.
He also had a gorilla with him. I'm not sure why. Spirit animal?
But with those 2 experiences, I know everything I need to know.
There is a heaven. There is a God.
    We don't die.
Our body dies but we are all just energy, frequencies.

  12. I had an op on my liver an while I was under thought I was with my mum she passed when I was seven,I didn't see her face but knew it was her and we was sat under a tree I saw her legs and painted red toe nails… She told me I had to come bk I said I didn't want too an again she said I had too an had so much more to do and learn . I truly do believe it was her x

  13. Been there too ✋ 🕊️
Stopped breathing for over an hour after dental surgery. They couldn't get me to wake up out of sedation either.
Once I woke up, and the nurses told me, I went very quiet and processed it all, then laughed and shrugged telling them, "Probably had quite the talk with my Mother and Jesus. I'm overdue, you see. Not my first close call to dying." It was honest. Nurses didn't know how to take that, lol!

  14. 100% she had a brief reunion with her soul group/family. Very common in NDEs. Many times someone is their to greet us as we lift out of our bodies to guide us home. She was in the place we live between these human lives. She went home, was given information about what she needs to do/learn before she completes her Earthy human journey and returns home on a more permanent basis. NDEs are to get us back on track or remind of us of a goal within the life plan.
As a grown son, please encourage your mom to focus on self love/self care, make herself and her interests a priority. No more putting herself last and always “sacrificing” for others. That ideology is human society programming especially for women who become mothers. We are conditioned to put ourselves last. This needs to end. It’s a fine balance when raising our young but I see your grown, so help your mom discover making herself happy and content first. She’s done sacrificing and putting herself last for others. That’s the message she was sent back with. When Spirit talks we need to listen and follow.
She is absolutely right about her parents “following” her. Our loved ones never leave us just because they leave their bodies. In fact they are free to be with us in a way they cannot because they are no longer limited by the physical constraints of our reality, time and space. Also Spirit knows our thoughts and feelings. They see the bigger picture and know what we need to experience as humans. Again be your mom’s advocate for making herself happy and discovering self love/self care.

  15. I find peace in knowing I will one day be w my family again. I miss my dad so much it hurts . 5 years later and sometimes it still hits me tht he is dead. I try not to cry for him and rather live for him but tht feeling of yearning for something that will never be again rocks my world every singleeeeee time
