Ever heard someone say, “I’m spiritual but not religious”? This short clip breaks down why that idea might be flawed—and why we need both the spiritual essence and the religious framework for true depth. Religion offers structure that keeps ego in check, while spirituality brings the inner experience to life. This video challenges modern clichés with bold insight and a touch of humor.
If you’re curious about the deeper meaning of faith, tradition, and inner growth—this one’s for you.

Thanks, that probably puts me in the stupid category then.
I just sont see the ideologically motivated Abrahamic monotheistic religions, that are constantly at each others throats and each claiming their God is the only true God, as being as just and pure as they make out to be.
Ehhh… Makes a good video title, but I think you're just being contrary. What's the point of the religious container without the spiritual?
Seems like a lot of protestant religious practice lacks tradition or even a good historical understanding of the texts they follow.
It is exactly the Ego that usually comes with ascribing to a religion that many find repulsive. Most especially the Abrahemic traditions, each claiming to be the one and only path for the Chosen Ones. The absolute gall of it.
Balls that big block the light of the life giving sun, and lead inevitably to the exact shit we see happening now all over the world. War, rape, plunder, murder and revenge are either your lived experience or the plot of all your famtasies in a fuck kill eat shit world.
There can be no peace in earth and good will for men when all the fruits of the spirit are trampled by religious nuts so huge!
Much like the Buddha you meet on the road is no buddha at all, anyone playing the One True God riff knows nothing about truth.
I see why we invented gods, and then crafted religions. Anyone who has run the numbers on what the average human intelligence implies can point to that.
Fear of death is a helluva drug.
But at some point, it' Will be the time, to put down childish things.
Clearly we have not found that hundredth monkey yet.

The time to believe something is when there is sufficient evidence to do so. Until then, remain sceptical but open. Faith is the excuse people give for believing something when they don't have a good reason. Remember always that you were born an atheist.
I'm neither of those.
