Evidence of The After Life from Astonishing Near Death

Evidence of The After Life from Astonishing Near Death

What if death isn’t the end but a doorway to something far greater?

On Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown, Dr. Bruce Greyson, M.D. (author of After, Chester Carlson Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, and co-founder of the International Association for Near-Death Studies) shares the near-death experience (NDE) that shattered his medical skepticism and launched decades of consciousness research with Mayim & Jonathan. A Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Greyson explores astonishing cases of tunnel visions, otherworldly reunions, and the powerful, peer-reviewed scientific evidence for life after death. Could it be that consciousness exists outside the brain? Discover why many say NDEs eliminate the fear of dying, trigger lifelong transformation, and may even unlock hidden psychic abilities. Plus: the surprising connection between trauma, psychedelics, and reincarnation science—and what it all reveals about what happens after we die.

  1. I was severely electrocuted and I left my body was above it and could still hear my body making noise from electrocution and all I could see was white I was looking around looking for something but it was just white light, I said in my inner monolog " thats it god I guess im dead, and another voice (God) said " no you have to fall off the ladder and you will live you will be badly hurt but you will live" then i felt a huge sense of relief because I was scared, and then I was back in my body and I knew what to do , I fell off the ladder broke my back , but knew I would be ok, changed my life forever, I know we continue on after death I was me I was there and I wasn't in my body💯

  2. My NDE was weird. My heart was damaged and I died. Long story. Anyway, I was a teenager. There was no tunnel. I was outside the hospital looking around for someone and they were not there, then I went through the emergency room, looked in every room until I reached the room I was in. I realized the person who put me in the condition I was in wasn't there. I woke up to a beautiful man talking to me, who I assumed was an annoying adult. When I actually woke up, my mom was there and the doctor came in who was not the doctor I had spoke to before. That doctor that I spoke to before didn't exist.

  3. Dr. Greyson, I am wondering if you have included studying those who can have out of body experiences through sleep paralysis? I know that OBE teacher Daruis J. Wright has mentioned being open to participating in such a study. I would definitely suggest to any one on this podcast to contact him.

  4. When I was 12 I left my body in a hospital bed. I hovered by the room's ceiling and I saw my mom and staff around my body, I took off thru the dark tunnel where I saw pictures of my life, stills so fast it looked like a movie, then I was back in the room but this time I saw my dad, I thought it was a dream because my dad wasn't there previously. I woke up and in fact my dad was there with my mom and that's how I know it wasn't a dream. I did see him before waking up

  5. Great Topic! I love Mayim's openness to all possibilities! My experiences have lead me on this path. Childhood trauma leaving my body but also saw things before they happened but that frightened me so I tried to shut it down. I had a NDE in a car accident. I transported back in time and was witnessing an accident on a hill in a very old red truck. I saw the people and them talking about it. When I came back in my body I was at the accident in the car with no idea that I was in an accident. A car had hit us on my side the passenger in the wheel well we spun around he hit the back then went off the road through a fence and hit the chimney of a house. Something had changed in me. I didn't feel like the same person. It could of been the brain injury but it felt like more. Years later I had a woman work with me doing energy healing and she brought me back into my body. She said I had a walk in. I then started reading energy more and was able to travel back and forth in time as well as teleport to places and remote view and shift energy for people. I studied with some very skilled teachers learning energy medicine ancestral healing hypnosis as well and learned Chinese energetics from a Shaolin Kung-fu master. He was David Carradine's advisor on the series Kung Fu. Brilliant man. I have been working with people now for many years. I really enjoy it and I love getting results for people and guiding them in a good direction. No matter what you have been through in this lifetime or other's you can change for the better.

  6. Great interview, savvy. I wished Einstein had lived longer, he wrote in a letter to his daughter that he believes love is the ultimate formula and he would want to decode it. If he had, imagine how different the world could have been…
