In this powerful episode, we sit down with Thau-Thau Haramanuba—respected elder, scholar, and voice of African spirituality—to explore what it truly means to reclaim ancestral wisdom in a world shaped by colonial religion. From the meaning of “Mimu” to the role of ancestors, he challenges Western constructs of God, sin, and worship, offering a bold redefinition of the divine rooted in African thought. This conversation is a must-watch for anyone seeking spiritual clarity, cultural grounding, or a deeper understanding of Africa’s spiritual legacy.

I would like this man to explain how is he a rasta and still hold to belief that have nothing to do with what Rastafarian belief system..for example rasta dont worship the sun as God they view Haile Selassie as their divine God..i would love for him to prove Christianity to of European origin..when it all started in Jerusalem, can he point to a cultural tradition in Africa older than Ethiopia's unbroken chronology if History..South Africa is the only country today that homosexuality is legal..they have been conquered by Europeans, enslaved, and colonized..Ethiopia, have been a free nation from the dawn of creation, with a language as old as the begining of time..Ethiopia is untouch by European missionaries who christianized all of Africa with the exception of Ethiopia..his main argument is leveled against christianity..and worship a Gid who came into existence, which suggest his concept of God is a creature
RELIGIONS IS A COLONIZERS CULTURE DISEASE DESTRUCTION OF THE MIND AND THE ROOTHS OF ALL EVIL….HERBS IS THE HEALING OF ALL NATION….NOT PRAYERS ….LET YOUR FOOD BE YOUR MEDICINES AND YOUR MEDICINES BE YOUR FOOD…EXCERSISE EAT HEALTHY MORE STRENGTH STAY STRONG BE SAFE HEALTHY LIVITY LIVE THANKZ….👁
I agree with Thau Thau’s perspective on African spirituality. My question is: how should we re-conceptualise spiritual warfare outside of the Christian framework of angels versus demons? In African spirituality, how are ideas like attacks on destiny, spiritual resistance, or obstruction understood—if not as a cosmic battle between opposing supernatural beings?
Where can one attend Thau Thau Teachings, is there a school where we can learn?
So true…
GIVE thanks to all this information. This is going to class.
We thank you thau thau, keep on coming in this conversation show and other places wherever invited
You bring light and knowledge to Africans, you make people connect with the nature as Africans. You give us proper direction and sense of redefining one's personality in the world. Thank you Mr thau thau, Mudimo be with you for Africa…from South Africa
If people can just listen very carefully to thau thaus teachings, we can realize that there is a crucial need of re transforming the Bible in a manner of how to represent Africans as Mudimo creation and direct connection with our superiority instead of following western fake god religion…from South Africa
Thanks for your Wisdom
Mkhulu. Lets start here. African words have meanings based on the sounds they make. Each sound has a distinctive meaning that does not change. The meaning represents the state of being of that which ot refers to. I have been fortunate to devipher this meaning through devine assistanve I can call it. Nya means absence anywhere in Indigenous language for instance.
Modimo, QAMATA, RAMASEDI, none if thess names redee to what you are talking about so roght there you are wrong nje. In actual fact the semantic and metaphysical problem is you confused my king with due respect. The original explanation actually makes more sense.
Let me break down MODIMO for you. M is the physical form of something hence we say isimo sayo, ukuma kwayo, ukumila. O refers to inner part or within, D is potential energy in a way (explanation is deeper but this is the best for theae purposes) i means different to you. None of it refers to what you are talking about. QAMATA can never mean God because all theae vowels point to a local existence. No Firstly there is no trinity in African Spirituallity or isintu, we simpky talk to elders becauae they are aeound us. The people that can represent the home are the father and in his abswnce the son to be abke to speak to our ancestors spirits. Its not a trinity. We are not talking to a God but to our ancestors. Ma refers to the local vibrational energy.
The concept of Mvelinqgange also you are butchering and misleading. Abantu are continuosly evolving some go forward some regress as in the fallen angels. When they regress they fall into a lower realm every realm will have its own beings if it didn't or if you are the first mntu there you could be coming from the bottom or from the top and there are people above you with higher energy. There are countless worlds to ascend to and descend to l. CA is clarity ma is physical form, GU is the increase of charge. It is clarity of form which increases your spirituality. That is what it means spiritually.
I Couldn't finish this. It is utter nonsense, I'm sorry to say.
Thanks for wisdom and knowledge, I got it, the main thing is decolonization.🙏
Christianity is based in the new testament which is bastardised African culture. The original was written by foreigners jotting down information told to them by Isazi (the one that knows). It was first written in isintu then translated to all other languages and then translated to isintu again with all the mistakes and additions to manipulate people. Remember who civilized Europeans.
Religion mkhulu is following something that you did not originate. It is following something without understanding how it works. You follow it religiously without question and without understanding the cause and effect of it. So which people understand the science of what their spirituality? A religion is given by a person who understands to people who don't understand so that they follow hos instructions verbatim. So in a way amasiko are a religion if you don't understand the cause and effect. The only difference is the level of purity of the activities you follow.
Fatsi os FA meaning here and tsi meaning stop. It points to a soace ypu cannot fall beyond because of its densness. There is no heritage meaning in that word.
How can you have a name for sometjing you don't know when all names mean something. Each word is made of sounds and each sound has a meaning so if no one knows what he looks like then how do we have a ne for him that does not ezpress that we dont k ow what we are talking about? Should the name not reflect that?
Mkhulu. I will break down the concept of AMEN for you. A refers to local, physical or around you, this is why we say la. E refers to something that is away from you, outside of yourself hence we say Le. M refers to the form of something, the physical form hence we say uku ma kwakhe, isimo. N refers to your non physical self or emotional body and intention body. None of this alludes to a Godly state. Names in Isintu refer to a state of being not a person, you name a person to create that state of being in the person. There is no God in ISINTU, there is just Abantu. This God thing is foreign. Abantu do not write books for themselves also remember that, they would write books to educate non Bantu who do not have the same level of spirituality to get the information directly for themselves. We get information from our heads by accessing the knowledge body which is above the intention body so Abantu have no BIBLE.
We are children of the sun because we belong to a higher state of consciousness and the sun represents that hemce the sun does not harm us since the energy between the sun and us is not that much as opposed to others with lower energy who get burnt by the sun. Where do you get these interpretations? Ra is negative energy in the body like Lust, Greed, we say uya Rhala as on expressing RA here. The sun is not Ra it is NGA hence we say LA NGA we don't say Rhala, rhala refers tp presence of greed, lust etc.. . Ra represents the seven deadly sins which is why the so called god of the Bible Ra is a jealous and vengeful, jealousy is Ra kuku Rhala. A is something local. Ayikho nje le oyikhulumayo la.
No mkhulu, no no no you are misleading abantu. Nga is energy above MA energy, below NDA energy. So LANGA means energy here. The sun is the highest state of energy in this level, it is a portal to the next state of being. The moon is NYANGA which is absence of energy. You are taking foreigners culture and stories and making them isintu. We call it ilanga we do not call it modimo. None of what you say makes sense.
Thank you so much the Great Master Thau -Thau Haramanuba, I learn alot today.
We need this knowledge in Africa and throughout the Diaspora. We've all been colonized, and as Grand Master Thau Thau said, colonialism used Christianity.
I want to visit the Bantu Society and Freedom Park. Thank you Grand Master.
