Why you have no motivation after spiritual awakening?
It’s not depression — and it’s not laziness. According to Carl Jung, losing motivation after awakening can be a natural psychological stage.
If you’ve been wondering:
• Why do I have no motivation after spiritual awakening?
• Why did I lose motivation after awakening?
• Why do I feel numb after spiritual awakening?
• Why do I have no desire to do anything?
• What is ego death really like?
This video explains the psychology behind losing motivation after awakening through Carl Jung’s depth psychology.
After a spiritual awakening, the ego can collapse. Old goals lose meaning. External ambition fades. What once drove you no longer moves you. This can feel like depression — but often it is a transition phase Jung described as individuation and enantiodromia.
In this video, we explore:
– No motivation after spiritual awakening
– Loss of desire and identity confusion
– Ego death and emotional numbness
– Why you feel detached from goals
– Why nothing excites you anymore
– How the psyche restructures itself after awakening
Carl Jung believed that when the ego dissolves, the psyche must reorganize around something deeper than ambition. This is not failure. It is restructuring.
If you feel lost after awakening… if you have no motivation to do anything… if you feel empty but not sad… you may be in the psychological “in-between” stage Jung described.
This is not about forcing motivation back.
It’s about understanding what is dying — and what is forming.

🕊"Sacred nothingness" 🕊. Beautifully described. Deepest gratitude for this video 💜💫☝✨
You had me at ‘invisible wall’ and lost me at ‘Start with this:’ — because the key to hidden knowledge somehow always comes with an author’s name and a price tag.
So this lack of motivation is all part of the journey, then there are misleading messages on Youtube, saying I am late, or ignoring messages.
it happened to me over a period of about three years, now I can't draw or enjoy photography or cycle anymore, something Iv'e done this past fifty years. I'm still mobile at 72 but don't go anywhere like I used to I just can't be bothered.
Sometimes, it's difficult to know how to start. It's been since my teen years that I've been realizing certain things don't align in this world and of course, nowhere are these vibes more mismatched than in the religious life. In the western world doctrine doesn't match doing and Christianity doesn't necessarily follow it's actual career goal. I am awed by these teachings as well as grateful for them. I never would have known what I was actually experiencing without Mr. Jung or Mr. Cayce. They and I thank God for both of them.
I feel whole again, something is positive is happening inside me after watching this… Kudos to the creator 😀
It feels as my reality! I Am! ❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️💫💫💫💫💫👑👑👑👑👑
Is the real story really starting to begin ? Life of a hermit is hard.
Resonate on a soul level!
Can aynone talk?
feel lost right now
You can't UNSEE all the corruption…conformity..and fakeness is stifling…and meaningless..🎭🤖🪱
Warning….this can take DECADES….it is BRUTAL…….☠️
This feels like a subtle breeze of quiet recognition… not dramatic, but persistent. Often with no clear direction yet being "carried".
I am going through it in 20 years age and i feel that I just lost all the fakeness of me i just don't care of anything sometimes it is amazing but sometimes I feel scared
I have plenty of motivation, but I have psychopaths controlling my reality.
What are you gonna do?🤷♂️
❤ Great work.
One does not lose motivation "after a spiritual awakening" but following the Dark Night or Nigredo. That is when the 1st "Ego death" happens", Because the Ego is stripped down at this point, the negative energy that used to motivate you from the unconscious is gone. And you thought you were positively motivated! This brings a shock. The way out is to make positive conscious choices and to not wait for your will to be revived but to act decisively and boldy based on conscious decisions. The actual awakening happens after many years of Integration work. You finish the Nigredo, that is not the end. That is the beginning of the awakening.
I ENVY those who have completed this cycle!!!! This Silent Void no joke, so quiet & exhausting!!! “True Self” I’m ready to meet
Ty. I'm in limbo now and awakening is brutal but also beautiful
I'm happy to hear what I'm going through is normal.
If this video helped you understand your journey, type "AWAKENING" in the comments. 🔥
Yeah don't care anymore..no motivation..just don't care
Sometimes the loss of motivation after awakening is not fog or depression in the simple sense. It can be the moment when the old reward system stops working.
Before the awakening, the person may still be driven by approval, achievement, fear, survival, identity, status, or the need to keep proving themselves. Afterward, those incentives can feel hollow. The person is still alive, but the old machinery no longer moves them the same way.
That can be terrifying because the world still demands output: work, emotion, performance, belief, optimism, obedience, productivity. But something inside has started asking why it must keep producing for a structure it no longer trusts.
Maybe the question is not “How do I get my old motivation back?” Maybe the deeper question is: what was motivating me before, and who benefited from it?
Reading other peoples comments going through the exact same phase, void after awakening is both sad and helpful. I guess it's good to know I am not alone. I had this enormous addictive personality, would get absolutely obsessed with my projects and goals, all if it DIED together with me. All the false and ego-driven projects, goals, relationships it all disappeared, very quietly and without effort. I just exist, everything is quite, still and ordinary, all the beliefs are gone, there is no truth and there are no answers. Just this. I feel your sadness and pain, and I see you! Take care
this all begin with me 2-3 years ago. It was discomforting but I did not know what was heppening. I thought it might be depression but it was something else. I recognized the "performative" action required of me and rebelled. Some things changed and needed to. Time has clarified that this event is real and a graduation to something more authentic and real. Friends noticthised and some of them stay true and understand now. Don't be one of those that gives up and ends it. This is a beginning so endure and learn.
If your are spiritual awake- dualistic thought disappears-there is no realm of motivation-no motivation there is just suchness.
Yep, true, and thank you! 😀
I went thru a 14 year period of losing everything. Literally everything. Everything "Wendy" was is gone. I spent years awakening and got here and the internal peace is so ultra relaxing that im enjoying this no motivation time. Its so quiet internally that im not use to it. Calmness amidst the chaos in the world. New to me. Its strange and awesome.

It's been like a roller coaster with unending peak apnea, in a supersonic trash can, through an asteroid belt, and the breaks are gone… I'll let you fill the rest.

Pets make life worth living. They bring divine grace in how they trust us to be kind and generous, patient and protective. They get me out of the house, out of my own mind, and connected to a spirit who has no pretension or agenda other than enjoying life with me. ❤❤❤
Welcome to the void. First time here? You must check out the nothingness here. It's the best feature!
The “sacred pause”
That’s how I will now treat this phase & change in life. 🙏
I have become such a loner. Hate the isolation but nobody know or come across is on the same level. I have always struggled with depression but now its times 10. Its hard to even get out of bed on most days. It is comforting to know that Im not alone in it because all Ichave been is completely alone and feel like I am drowning
There is nothing in this world we truly want
