Religion is a set of special practices. Spirituality is a close connection with the divine. Religion asks us to follow rules; spirituality invites exploration. Both give purpose, but spirituality grows from awareness. Today, I honor the inner journey with sincerity, presence, & living connection. The truth is, I take what helps, leave the rest, & walk a path with God shaped by what serves my life best.

That old saying, like most old sayings, is just worthless rhetoric. Religion is for people who want security in this world, and for the lives they have cultivated and grown to like. Spirituality is the pursuit of truth, and 99 percent of people who claim to be spiritual are ignorant of truth. Spirituality is not a tool to navigate life or this world. It is the reality of truth. The truly spiritual are those seeking truth, pursuing understanding beyond the goal of practicality. It's not about what truth can do for you. It is about you becoming a part of truth. It is about becoming harmonious with truth.

Thanks. This actually makes sense and I agree.
Personal hell of being used, lied to, cheated on and then ghosted trusted me onto this journey.
I now defend my space/Aura with Love (no violence needed yet) and understand Karma, which is why I don't put hands on people unless called for, and thank God haven't been called to.
Though 2 years single, people have either walked out of, or I've removed, from my life.
I give thanks and praise to God The Almighty Father for though I was broken, He fixed me.
FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND really was an eye opener, and a great source of comfort.
Definitely not religious in ANY shape or form.
