I had an NDE during a 7 hour operation in 2006 and I can describe in great detail what I experienced, stuff that I couldn't just make up. However, all the "experts" in the comments here seem to know much more about the subject than I ever could lol.

According to susan blackmore, she tried to investigate the shoe story but couldn't corroborate it from anyone except the social worker who originally told it. The patient, Maria, herself has never spoken publicly about it. All we have is the word of one person.
On a different note, our priest told my husband of a miracle that recently happened in a neighboring city. Baby, in utero, was pronounced deceased from the umbilical strangulation. The mother was going to have the baby birthed but asked their young priest to pray over her. The priest has great faith in miracles & prayed that if the Lord could raise Lazareth, He could surely raise this baby but it was His will. The babe was born blue. I don’t remember how long it was but after the birth the baby turned his head and started screaming. The entire team was dumbfounded. It is an official and going to be looked in to as a miracle (not sure what that entails or if I said that part correctly). This story was in response to my husband telling our priest in conversation that we don’t have miracles anymore like there used to be.

There’s really no such thing as death because God created us to live forever. But there’s also a flipside there’s such thing as physical death, and even what Jesus calls the second death. Which is hell, fire and everlasting pain. We all have the power to choose where we want to be for all eternity to the point of no return. Jesus says repent and reform your life and do penance or you shall perish. Our Lord Jesus never taught violence, but however, he talked very violent. Our God is love and mercy, but he is also Just and he won’t be taken for as a fool. Catholicism is a hospital for all of us who are sick and don’t know how to love. Catholicism teaches us how to love. 🇺🇸🦅
