  1. Nowwwww Queen! Omaha does have Afro-fest (in alignment with AfroPunk). First it was Bud Crawford and now it’s Omaha ain’t got no African festivals 😂😂😂🤦🏾‍♂️ You ain’t gonna keep doin us sistuh Queen lol. Love you much!

  2. That first question from Farah was on my mind. Myself to first generation Congolese in Canada I’ve always felt a strong connexion. First when I was taken away from Congo at age 7 it wasn’t with my consent and the minute I came to Canada I was drawn by African American history and I felt so connected and I had dreams, vision…

  3. The Queen Po, I just feel like you love this practice and humanity so much that you teach us newbies so that we do it right, and not embarrass the craft. I honor you for this. 💚

Also, I live in WV. Ain't no Afro Punk nowhere near me. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

  4. As a white gal, that lives in the south, where everyone thumps their bibles. WE SHOULD LEARN FROM EACH OTHER! We should RESPECT each other's beliefs even if you don't agree with it. We grow by learning. If you have a gift SHARE IT! Let's learn from each other and quit making things black or white. It's not about the color of our skin but the goodness of our soul that matters!
Yes, we are all different, but we are also ONE! WE ARE HUMANS! We all need help, now more than ever!
I do thank you, Queen Po. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. And I hope you are pleased that this white gal is using your knowledge for the greater good. NOT for monetary profit. But to help myself and teach others so they my benefit as well.
    May all be blessed!

  5. Peace and Greetings Queen! As always, I enjoyed your videos. Great information. You teach, keep us thinking and laughing. When you stopped to sip your water lol. 😂😂I've been on my spiritual journey for over 26 years. Most of those years, I hid my practice and beliefs behind church. I'm free now, and I practice my African Spirituality or My IdU lol without restraints, worry, or permission.. I do what my Inner Voice and Ancestors guide me to do on every level. Appreciate you. Living loud, intentional, with ease, and from the inside out. I have everything I need, if I don't have it, I don't need it and if I want it, I can speak it and it's mine. Be well Beautiful!

  6. That's the very reason I have followed you for years. You teach people, do what works for you. Everyone doesn't need a strict guideline for everything in their life. At some point, we have to trust our own voice. I get it, though. Some people prefer that type of learning and some people are healing or haven't healed. Some haven't even faced the fact that they have some areas that require healing. We all get it differently, as long as we get it. I learned while in church that we were being taught to rely on everything outside of us and not our own minds and inner voice. Be well.

  7. 1:08:42 OH SHIT! I'M FROM OMAHA NEBRASKA AND I WAS WAITING FOR THIS QUESTION! I'm sitting here like, where am I gonna find an elder in Omaha, NE?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 See. I had a feeling of connection with you and your videos and now I see this as a sign that I'm on the right track!

  8. I am half white half black, with Jamaican/ African roots. I didn’t grow up with my black side of the family but I have been laying hands, and plants have been speaking to me and calling me to root work since I was a child. I followed that calling and for a person like me, living in a modern western country with very little connection to black culture, it is incredibly valuable to receive some wisdom online, from open hearted souls like you on your channel. Thank you! ☀️🕊️

  9. I’m from the Caribbean, and I wish my grandma was around so I could know if she was into it my mom fell into Christianity but the wasn’t my calling, I’ve never felt connected the church, but nature yes, Idk if I’m called to do hoodoo, but ik we do stuff connected hoodoo and they don’t even know

  10. Hetep.. See our documentary film wherein we examine our tradition from an Ancestrally rooted perspective. Hoodoo was born of and is sustained within the spiri-genetic blood-circles of Black people in North America exclusively: HOODOO – Akan Ancestral Religion in North America https://youtu.be/sGMaMr9OnnM

  11. You said “if you’re a person of African Descent you can practice Hoodoo.” I believe that Hoodoo is strictly for Black American people. I married into Jamaican culture and they have their own. Trini culture has their own, Cuban culture (I studied in Havana) clearly have their own. It is OK for Black Americans to have our own cultural traditions, identities and norms that strictly for us ❤❤❤.
