African Spirituality seems refreshing. “I am because we are,” is a simple but effective message. In my view, the JW organization does teach divide not between us/you vs. the world but between us and each other and also us and ourselves. To know is to experience this as a JW. Christianity and Islam are not movements of peace by instruments to sort out people and made to follow these institutions through direct and subversive efforts. Yes, much of Christianity is just beliefs stolen from older cultures. When it is said, “ain't nothin new under this sun” is certainly true of Christianity and with no doubt applies to the JW belief system.
Hey Monica., Where did you ever get the idea that the Jehovah Witnesses were ever a Christian denomination ? Just because they call themselves Christians does not make it so. I hope one day you will realize that they are a looney tunes CULT ! They are not mainstream Christianity. They are not even close to being Christians. Here in the USA they are considered to be very Evil, and criminals.

Hi, I happen to be a white British woman but what you're talking about here also resonates with me as I also rejected Christianity in favour of paganism/shamanism and feel very proud of Stonehenge and our prehistoric monuments and landscape here in Britain but certainly NOT the empire! I guess I feel in a way this happened to us too because the Romans came and then we were invaded by the Vikings/Danes/French etc. etc. and basically we lost our true spirituality and connection with our LAND and PLANET! It's interesting when you go far back in time we all seemed to have stone circles etc? Interesting about Adam's Calendar, I had heard about this and UBUNTU from Michael Tellinger. I've been Agnostic for 3 years. Black Agnostic. Left Christianity for many reasons too long to explain, but I'm am intrigued on your words, but I self reflect and grew as an individual for my family with great results as an Agnostic. Your story sharing shows similarities to how I left Christianity and it really did resonated with me. Even though I'm Agnostic, I'm still open minded. You got yourself another subscriber.
