My husband died a month ago. He had a similar dementia type illness and within a year he was no longer himself – he was 47. However he came back as himself a few times before he died so i know he as himself still exists. Hes also visited me after he died, touched my face the same way as before. They still do exist, even if you think they are gone, you cannot find them in their eyes – trust me they still exist and they still love you π―
Damn, I've been friends with Ray on Facebook for years, and I have no idea how that came to be. He does amazing wood carvings for Disney. Seeing his posts over the years he always seemed like a genuine guy, so this kind of helps me believe the a bit more.

What your priest said is horrible……God would never make someone more powerful than himself ….he wouldn't make satan more powerful than himself. He was likely frightened and insecure due to all the lies the church spreads to human beings.

Thank you Ray, beautifully told. I really relate to βbeing in the momentβ for years I worked out in the Australian Outback driving to different aboriginal communities. On those lonely long drives I could get myself into a kind of trance where I felt at ONE with the land. It was so peaceful, my mind felt like pure contentment. I need to find it again. This is one of my favorite NDE tellings because I feel it is a very balanced and genuine processing and interpretation of it. Very grounded, very connected, very open still but always tethered in love.

The priest telling you it was a trick from the devil while I saw the living light in the dark void and got suspicious of it and scared of it although attracted to it like a magnet… I don't know. God, not God, wtf… Christianity exists since 2000 years, it speaks of a God who murders and punishes (not the part that actually concerns Jesus though, so I guess there is a part about Satan pretending to be God and another about God, to each his own.) but very ancient cultures have much more information about NDEs, OBEs and GodS with an S. So… The truth is inside each one of us, to each his own truth, to each his Heaven. If this is but a dream we dream, or a higher consciousness dreams, then there is hell, there is heaven, there is anything that can be imagined.

VAGUE. Anyone could say this, theyβre meant to take ppl away from the truth of Jesus Christ, Iβve been on the other side. JESUS WAS EVERYWHERE AND EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING WORSHIPS HIM. EVERYTHING AND YOUR WHOLE BEING
Being here does seem absolutely pointless at times. Love is the purpose though. Unconditional love is all encompassing and covers all transgressions. The hardest part is to love OURSELVES unconditionally. I think that is the true purpose. We must love ourselves unconditionally to fulfill our true purpose.
Powerfully honest and pure telling of your story, thank you. I watch to make sense of my out of body experiencing and the most real encounter with my mother after she passed. Her presence was pure love, it was her without her ego. Now I am learning how to live here, seemingly inhabiting this world of how things are appearing, and longing to be in the heavens…a feeling I've had as pure soul separate from the body. This relationship to the body feels like a challenge as well as a weight, I wonder if you felt that at some point?

Spot on.. Iβve never used this expression, but this is what I now consider as βspot onβ. So much resonance, so much depth. This man sees what I see to be the truth of all of existence. Our minds get in the way of who we truly are. We are beyond the mind and if we can only realize this on a more consistent basis, then we will be closer to our awakened selves.. and awakening to our true selves means that we will experience more love on a moment to moment basis, which is what life is all about.

I keep watching these NDE's and this one is my favorite one yet. I had a near death too and didn't go through the tunnel but I felt like I was being pulled to it and I was looking down on myself. And all my mother's were around me. I had a talk but not talk with what y'all call God but that's not the right word for it. There was no voice it was just a knowing but I felt the presence and in that moment I knew nothing and everything at once. I think I need to start telling my story because I keep most of it to myself. Like some things I know are not meant to be known by humans.
