we, rather certain people, have constructed a world where this question is incompatible with the systems we use to describe and engage our world. the answer to this question can go back to the golden rule. Doing onto others as we would want for ourselves is actually an instruction. If existence created us to observe it, we are all apart of it. When we harm and exploit one another for power and profit, it reinforces an illusion that we are separate. If the illusion dissolves and we begin to view ourselves as channels through which existence experiences itself, then our relationship with existence changes.
There is a lot of audacity in proposing that these ideas originated in Germany. Europeans called every culture they conquered primitive savages in need of civilizing. Many of the ideas in this video are ancient and present in cultures including Ancient Greece and Rome. This is exactly what I am talking about when I say that certain people will not be able to fully understand until they have dissolved the idea that they are "superior". There's no such thing.

I've written a story about this once. Three people independently trying to solve all the mysteries of existence, consciousness, Multiverses, and so forth, got so involved and so deeply sucked into the infinite layers of all this that all three blew their circuits and got a complete mental breakdown. As they recovered, the sobering tragedy to each of them was that none of them will be able to sustain their mental balance by exploring such deep, cosmic topics, and would have to enter upon a much more grounded field of endeavor, and they did. One became a mechanical engineer, another became a lawyer, and the third became a surgeon. Compared to the mysteries they were studying before, these new fields were vey grounded in everyday reality and afforded them a sense of stability. Perhaps another day they would resume their philosophical quest, but for now that would be left to others
