In Episode 5 of The Human Conscience, we explore a powerful revelation of what the finished work of Jesus Christ truly accomplished in regard to the human conscience.
Using the analogy of the leper, this teaching confronts a deep question:
If Christ has truly cleansed, can there still be traces of defilement?
When Jesus touched the leper, the cleansing was not partial—it was complete. There were no remaining sores, no gradual healing, no leftover evidence of corruption. In the same way, when Christ offered Himself, He did not initiate a process of cleansing the conscience—He perfected it once and for all.
To suggest that humanity still carries a defiled conscience after the finished work is to imply that Christ’s work was incomplete. But just as the leper could not remain partially unclean after being touched, the conscience cannot remain partially defiled after the sacrifice of Christ.
In this episode, we explore:
– the difference between progressive effort and complete cleansing
– why the Adamic fall introduced a defiled conscience
– and how the finished work of Christ fully resolved it
This teaching will challenge the idea of ongoing inner defilement and reveal the freedom of a conscience that has been cleansed once and for all.
